The Coronavirus has hit us in apocalyptic proportions. Christians, like the rest of the world, are in self-quarantine for a long time. While the initial fear has settled, the uncertainties of the future and the helplessness of the hope for a vaccine or a cure is looming over everyone’s thoughts.
Nothing is new under the sun. When the Israelites were in Egypt, God sent the plagues on the Egyptians and the Hebrews were safe in their homes marked with the blood of the lamb.
History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.
~ Ecclesiastes 1:9
The only differences today is that God did not send the Coronavirus and we have protection under the blood of the Greater Lamb, Jesus Christ and his finished works on the cross.
This survival guide will help you stay safe and productive during these trying times. I pray that you deal with this pandemic in wisdom and prudence.
Listen to the Authorities
We Christians are famous for our religious arrogance. When the authorities who are ordained by God advise us to do something for our good, let us do so with reverence and Godly fear.
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good.
But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

If we cannot obey the authorities who are seen, how can we claim to obey God who is unseen? Therefore, listen to every advice of the government regardless of your political affiliation.

This lockdown is a good opportunity to listen to sermons, research the Bible and enjoy life. Spend time with your family in the Lord.
Use this time to listen to as many sermons as you can, use podcasts, watch YouTube videos or read books that preach the Gospel Paul Preached and Christ died to give.
Avoid fear-mongering, fake news and anything that is external or foreign to the Peace that Christ gives. Fan to flame your Faith by hearing and hearing the words of Christ.

Perfect Time to Create and Innovate
Necessity is the mother of invention and there are plenty of necessities that need to be solved in these trying times. We don’t know how long Coronavirus lockdown will be in effect all over the world.
Even if things start opening up, the world as we know it will never be the same. We need to adapt and innovate. Because of the cross, we have access to all the blessings of Abraham to reign in life.
I pray that you prosper in all things just as your souls prosper. May God give you the wisdom and the revelation of Jesus Christ that will empower you to come out with all kinds of inventions, innovations, discoveries, business ideas that would prosper and help mankind.
I pray that you be rich in your family, relationships and most importantly exceedingly rich in your health. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Help those in Need
The Lockdown has left many economically stranded. Around the world, many people don’t have the luxury of even a single meal. Let us help each other in these trying times by doing the best we possibly can.
While we are comfortable and safe with our families, pastors, doctors, nurses and others in the medical profession around the world are risking their lives feeding and helping the less fortunate. God is not caught off guard with the Coronavirus when you see darkness happening in the world know that the opposite is happening to the church.
God has already unleashed a new wave of healing in the Body of Christ. This is why this planet desperately needs the church to stay. Without the church, this whole world will drown in chaos.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
~ 1 corinthians 3:9
This is why we pray, not to move God but because God has already sent a wave of cure and he wants us to be co-labourers in his work.
